i'm having strong difficulties dividing decimals for ex 0.52 / 12

It's just long division but you have to keep track of where the decimal point goes. You can also try reducing it to lowest terms first.
0.52/12 = 52/1200 = 13/300 = 1/100 * 13/3
= 0.0433333..
You will end up with an infinite string of 3's when you divide 3 into 13.
