since the diagonals are equal,
5x+2 = 4x+7
x = 5
Knowing the diagonals does not help in determining the lengths of the sides. However, if we go with integers, then the halves of the rectangle are 3-4-5 right triangles.
So, the perimeter is 2(3+4) = 14.
5x+2 = 4x+7
x = 5
