If I have a formula of

L= 3^square root of W/(divided)c

L=4 and c= 0.0040
and I am trying to find W how would I do that

1 answer

Your equation does not make it clear if "divided by c" term is also under the cube root sign. I will assume that it is.

What you have is:

4 = (W/c)^1/3

where c = 0.004. (The exponent ^1/3 means the same thing as cube root.)

4 = (W/.004)^(1/3)
Now cube both sides of the equation

64 = W/0.004
W = 0.256
