If CSC X = 4 in the quadrant 1, what is COS X?

cos(x)=(4^2-1^2)^(1/2). If your csc=4, then build your right triangle and if csc(x) is hyp/opposite, then you should get what i have put above. Hope this helps

if cscx = 4, sinx = 1/4

cos^2 = 1 - sin^2 = 15/16
cosx = √15 / 4
