You could look it up on the calculator but no, 9 x 9 = 81
What if they don’t have a calculator? And if they wanted to use a calculator, they would of used it instead of using this website wouldn’t they?

so what is
(8+1) * (8+1) ?
but we all know (x+a)(x+a) = x^2 +2 a x + a^2
= 8*8 + 16 + 1
= 64 + 17
= 74 +7
= 81
so what is
(8+1) * (8+1) ?
but we all know (x+a)(x+a) = x^2 +2 a x + a^2
= 8*8 + 16 + 1
= 64 + 17
= 74 +7
= 81
