I want to know did I work these problems right

Multiply: ( - 6)² - 4² = 36 – 16 = 20

Multiply
( - 3) ( - 6 ) + ( 4 ) ( -2) = 18 + ( -8) = 18-8= 10

Multiply: ( - 3 ) ³ - ( - 8) ( -2) =
(-3) times 3 = -9
(-8) times (-2) = 16
-9 - 16 = -25

-25

Multiply: -9 ² - ( -6)² = 81-36= 45

The first two are OK. The third is not. The fourth has the wrong sign.

"Multiply": ( - 3 )³ - ( - 8) ( -2) =
The superscript 3 is an exponent.
( - 3 )³ = (-3)(-3)(-3) = -27
Subtract 16 from that.

Why do you start each operation with the word "multiply"? There are also other operaions involved (adding, subtracting and taking exponents)
