I need to prove this identity:

cot(x)+tan(x)=csc(x)sec(x)

I get as adding them together, but then I get stuck.

1 answer

cot + tan=
cos/sin + sin/cos=

(cos^2 + sin^2 )/sin*cos =

1/cos*sin= csc*sec
