I need help setting up the equation. I think I'm doing something wrong.

Problem: a recipe needs 2 and 2/3 cups of flour to make two regular batches of cookies. Now I need to make multiple batches of cookies.

This is what I have

2 and 2/3 over 24 = x over 72

1 answer

I assume one batch = 12 cookies.

Where did you get 72?
