I must find the speed of an object, the infermation that is given to me is:n height: 0.10 kinetic energy: 0.50 time travel o.72 (m/s squared). i belive that speed = 0.3... is this correct?

I doubt if your speed is correct. You do not provide units for speed or height. The words "kinetic energy: 0.50 time travel o.72 (m/s squared)" do not make sense. Unless the object is falling from some height, I do not see why a height was mentioned.
If you know the kinetic energy (KE) and the mass (m), a speed (V) can be derived using
KE = (1/2) m V^2
