1. All is OK except that last verb. " ... in case it rains."
2. OK -- except I don't understand the last 6 words. Why are they wearing the competition's logo? Why not their own logo?

1) I hope the weather will be nice/good.
I hope to have luck with the weather.
If there is heavy rain, I'll have to wear walking boots. I also have a wind breaker in my rucksack in case it will rain.
2) All the boys and girls who will take part in the challenge (all the participating boys and girs), will have to wear a yellow T-shirt with the competion's sponsor on it.
