I have to write an essay describing the external conflict Nat Hocken from the short story 'The Birds' encounters and how he overcomes it.

This is what I got:
In The Birds, Nat Hocken, a farm worker and war veteran notices an unusual number of birds behaving strangely along the Peninsula where his family lives. As Nat opens the window of his house later that day, a number of birds strike him and disappear. He then hears screams from his children's room and rushes to them, only to find a swarm of small birds flying around the room. Nat fights them off with a blanket until dawn, when they fly away, leaving about fifty dead on the floor. On the radio, it’s announced that birds are attacking all over Britain and Nat boards all his windows and blocks the chimney. When he goes to pick up his daughter from school, the birds attack him again and he goes home with some minor injuries. Soon massive swarms of birds are diving for the house. There are planes outside, trying to get rid of the birds and when Nat goes back outside, he sees most of the people killed by the birds. The story ends with the birds continuing their attack, and Nat overcomes this by protecting himself and his family inside their house.

Is this OK?

Thanks

You're welcome.
As Nat is trying to get back home, he has his third conflict with the birds. What is particularly frightening about this one?
