I have to do a slide presentation, and just needed some ideas to write about.

Students will create a 3-slide presentation on any development in culture, science, and technology from 1914-1945, in America.

So can you give me some ideas to write about?

Oh, so many, many things changed in that time period. The spread of electricity from cities to rural areas and the suburbs changed life for millions of people. Time-payment plans allowed more and more people to be able to afford automobiles, which changed the entire culture. The popularization of the motion picture and radio brought people together in ways never before possible, sharing culture and information, etc., in ways that never happened before. Advances in medicine, transportation, etc. revolutionized the way people lived. After World War I, women's place in society began to change (and is still changing).
