I have a question regarding my intro paragraph for my essay, this is MLA format.

If I have a quotation at the beginning of my essay and it is longer than 4 lines, what I say next following the quotation, the first sentence, does it have to be indented? Example:

below's quotation is single spaced, indented twice, and blocked
"-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"

This paragraph is not indented.

ORRR

"----------------------------------------------------------------------"

This paragraph is indented.

Ok, it didn't work out too well the second example is supposed to be indented five spaces to the right

Yes, indent if it is a new paragraph, if it is not a new paragraph, then don't indent.
