i don't understand this question.it is straight out of my math book:
The following prices were posted at the local store.
Bananas:.39c a pound
Notebook Paper: 1.02c
What is wrong with these signs?

The .39c a pound sign is a . for the dollars as well as a c for the cents. $.39 would be correct OR 39 c would be correct.
The second sign does the same. It would be correct to list it as 102 c OR $1.02
