I am sorry to ask for help again and i am not asking for you to do my homework but please could yo tell me if these are the correct names of the 12 disciples of Jesus.
Simon , Andrew , James ,John, Philip ,Bartholomew,Matthew,Thomas, James,Simon,Judas,Thaddaeus.
Thankyou for your help its just that i have looked on several websites and they have different names. i was off sick during one of the lessons because i was in hospital . sorry to be a pain.

Thaddaeus is better known as Jude. You have Simon listed twice....You need to be specific.

As staed in Matthew 10:2-4, the original disciples were:

Simon (called Peter, perhaps because there was another Simon)

Andrew (Simon's brother)

James, son of Zebedee

John (James' brother)

Philip

Bartholomew

Thomas

Matthew

James, son of Alphaeus

Thaddaeus

Simon the Zealot (aka Simon the Caanite)

Judas Iscariot

P.S. The "confusion" comes from different names for some in different books of the Bible.

Bartholomew is named nathanael in John

Matthew is named Levi in Luke and M ark

Jude Thaddaeus, is Thaddaeus in Mark, Lebbaeus Thaddaeus in Matthew, and Judas of James in Luke
