How many packages of candy containing 3/4 of a pound each can be filled from 15 pounds of candy?

15 divided by 3/4
and if you can't visualize it then "tis not for you to reason why" flip the second one over and multiply
15 x 4/3
= 15 x 4 divided all by 3 : )
Think of a bowl of candy that weighs 15 lbs. how many bags of 1 lb could you get well, that would be 15 bags. If you are only going to take 3/4 of a lb, then you should get more than 15 bags... Right?
So you are dividing 15 by 3/4 the rule for division with fractions is to multiply by the reciprocal so multiply by 15 x 4 and then divide by 3.
Thank you
