Read the part on Themes and Motifs... then go back and read the poem. I think you will find some interesting ideas in common. I will be interested to see what your ideas are.
How does Kenneth Koch's poem, "One train may Hide another" relate to the novel " Siddhartha" by Hermann Hesse.
Please help me.

I reread the poem and the themes and Motifs of the novel. I couldn't find anything specific, but I think the basic relation of the poem and novel is that they both try to find spiritual enlightment.
For example, throughout the poem, Koch is constantly listing things or situations that may be hidden, which could have various affects if they were found or interpreted. I think this relates to Siddhartha, because throughout the novel, this determined goal is so find his true inner self, and gain knowledge and wisdom along his journey. Both the poem and the novel try to search for something that's missing.
I'm not sure if this is correct. Can you please help me find something specific in the poem that may relate to the novel?
Please help. Thank you.

You just mentioned several things that have "hidden" meanings. You are on exactly the right track. What things does Koch mention that might be as relevant to him as the stream was to Siddartha? Good thinking!
