How do you solve this?

5x- [1.5 -3.6] [0.2 1.3]
[-0.3 2.8]= [-5.6 1.7]

5x/5[-1.5 -3.6] [0.2 1.3]
[0.3 -2.8]=[-5.6 1.7]

x = [-1.5 3.6] [0.2 1.3]
[0.3 -2.8]=[-5.6 1.7]

[-1.5 + 0.2 + 3.6 + 1.3]
[0.3 + -5.6 + -2.8 + 1.7]

x = [-1.3 4.9]
[-5.3 -1.1]

I have tried to work this out many times, but I keep getting it wrong. Can someone show me what I am doing wrong?
