What sets poetry apart from prose -- and makes it more interesting usually -- are the rhythm, rhyme, choice of words (diction), any of the other literary devices that poets use in their work.
If you are drawn to a particular poem because of its rhyme, then that's what you should write about. Or maybe it's the rhyme and alliteration ... or any number of other elements.
