homework due by 8am on 2/26...spent too much time with bad websites....still no answers....need help with simple random sample...Have 460 clients...need SRS of 20 clients for survey...Have a number table to select sample from:13873 81598 95052 90908 73592 75186 87136 95761
Given these random digits from a teacher handout, how do I select clients in the order found in this table?????
What I would do with these random numbers is use them in groups of 3 or 2. If a 3-digit number fits within the range of 1-420, use that number. If it is outside of that range, just use two of the numbers. For example, 138, 73, 81....
I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
WOW! Great response time!!! At least you know what I'm talk about. Thank You! Ok, so I have 460 clients...how do I know if I should use 3 digits or 2 digits? Is it my choice or is there a formula? Thanks, Nancy
