Im a senior and my last assignment in english is to write an essay ,If i don't get at least a B on this essay .I wont graduate....

The question : "why do writers often chose "betrayal" as a theme? to prove it chose 2 books ( kite runner and 1984)

even if u havent read the books, any info would help.
