im stuck on this one question
"The hardness of a mineral is found to be between 9 and 10 on the Mohs scale. Can you accurately state that the mineral's hardness is 9.5? Why or why not?

Iā€™m way to late to help the original person but incase anyone else finds this later on the answer is no because 9.5 does not account for the full variation of 9-10 on the hardness scale
Essentially the hardness can be anywhere between 9-10 (to the other reply I forgot to add this)
