WOW YOU"RE A LIFE SAVER
This is a test question. You are not supposed to be asking for help on a test!
;-; I’ve been trying to get help bc I’ve been working on this problem for 20mins can someone just help ;-;
So I am confused..... The problem is like this 35 + 15h= 95 right? So I subtract 35 from 95 to get 60. Then I divide 60 by 15 to get 4. But the person who posted the question says the answer is 6???????
look at ms sue saving my life
I need to solve it on: graphing, equations, and inequalities Unit test part 2. I have the equation but now I just need to solve it😭🖐 help me pls i need to bring meh grade up-
Who is a lifesaver Hellen Doe
did you know ms sue died
really
I beilive that the answer would be 95/15=6.33333
so around 6 but idk
wait not first subtract 95-35 than divide that by 15
Yes Yes Yes!!!!!! that's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job
so the answer is 4 bc I did "am guessing's" math and got 4 as my answer
She would of went ski for 4 hours because if you subtract 35 for 95 you get 60 and 60 divide by 15 is 4 so it would be 4 hours
T^T
Here is the answer!
As Ms. Sue said, the algebraic equation is 35 + 15h = 95. Now, you need to solve for h. So, you first need to subtract 95 - 35 to get 60. Now we just need to divide 60 by 15 to get 4. So, Gabriella skied for 4 hours.
Hoped this helped ! :)
snail is 100% right! Tysm!
YEA BOIIII!!!!! SNAIL IS 100 PERCENT RIGHT!!! OWO

Q: Abriella went skiing. She paid $35 to rent skis and $15 an hour to ski. If she paid a total of $95, how many hours did she ski? Write an equation to represent the situation and solve it.

A: 35+15=50=1hr
50+15=65=2hrs
65+15=80=3hrs
80+15=95=4hrs
Therefore she had to have ski'd for 4 hours 😇 ur welcome!

P.S. sub to me on @Cartooni Strays
the answer is 4
Ty Ms sue
こんにちは
35 + 15h = 95

Change the places

15h + 35 = 95

Subtract both sides

15h + 35 - 35 = 95 - 35

Focus on 95 - 35, which is equal to 60

15h = 60

15h ÷ 15 = 60 ÷ 15

Focus on 60 ÷ 15

so h is = 4

Gabriella skied for 4 hours
This is the real step by step way to solve.

I don't think anyone cares really. If a kid is gonna cheat, then they are gonna cheat 🤷‍♀️ Not saying I'm not cheating, because I am. I'm dumb, we all are.
@cheese,

What happens when you have to figure this type of problem out in the real world? No way to cheat on that!
To all of you ARCA students submitting this as your answer,

35 + 15h = 95
95 - 35 = 60
60 ÷ 15 = 4

You are missing some steps...I'll be calling you so you can explain it to me.
OMG! Mrs. Sue, I never knew you could be so nice. TYSM!
Ik this is much later in the year but heres my answer, im pretty sure its correct.
H represents hours, and i have to find out how many hours she skied for.
95-35=60
60÷15=h
H=4 hours
Remember that God loves you! <3
ok, so.
If Gabriella went skiing and she paid $35 to rent skis. And in total she paid $95.
95 - 35 = 60
60 / 15 = 4

So Gabriella spent 4 hours skiing.
That's correct! Good job!
Note: Enter your answer and show all the steps that you use to solve this problem in the space provided.

Gabriella went skiing. She paid $35 to rent skis and $15 an hour to ski. If she paid a total of $95, how many hours did she ski? Write an algebraic equation to represent the situation and solve it.
Algebraic equation:

Let h be the number of hours Gabriella skied. Then we can write:

total cost = rental cost + hourly cost

$95 = $35 + $15h

Solving for h:

$95 - $35 = $15h

$60 = $15h

h = $60/$15

h = 4

Therefore, Gabriella skied for 4 hours.
