Whether it's anchoring the plant, capturing sunlight, or attracting pollinators, each part plays a vital role in the plant's survival.
I am confident that I can describe a variety of ways that plants respond to external stimuli, and how these responses relate to life processes. Throughout this unit, I have learned about tropisms, nastic movements, and physiological responses in plants. By understanding how plants respond to light, gravity, touch, and other stimuli, I can now see the direct connection between these responses and the overall life processes of plants.
