Your first sentence is a run-on sentence. It could be three. Your second sentence could a a compound sentence by adding a semi-colon between "time make" or two sentences.
I would make "don't pull all nighters" a parenthetical, r separate it with commas.

If you MUST confine your paragraph to five sentences, the first sentence can be a cogent sentence by making it all agree. "...the first day of class, including paying... and reviewing..."
