Treat x^(1/3) as a new variable y, and factor the resulting equation
2y^2 -y -6 = 0
(2y +3)(y-2) = 0
y = x^(1/3) = -3/2 or 2
Now cube that for x.
Find the value of x
2x^(2/3) - x ^(1/3) -6 =0
Thanks for your help :)
