Find the slope of any line parallel to the line through points (19,1) and (10,2).

I have come up with the slope of that line which should be 1/-9, but beyond that I'm lost.

1 answer

You have the slope.

y= slope*x + intercept

put what you have in the equation...

1= (-1/9)*19 + intercept

solve for the intercept.
