Find the instantaneous rate of change of y with respect to x when x = 15 for the function y = 5x2 − 2x

1 answer

I think you meant to type
y = 5x^2 - 2x

if so, then
dy/dx = 10x - 2
and if x = 15
dy/dx = 10(15) - 2 = 148
