Find dy/dx using implicit differentiation of xy + sin^2y=10350.

Is it -y/(x+2siny)

1 answer

Hmm. I get sin2y

y + xy' = 2siny*cosy y' = 0
y' = -y/(x + 2siny cosy)
= -y/(x + sin2y)

don't forget that chain rule. . .
