I believe you stated the question incorrectly. It matters whether she spend 1/10 of the TIME walking or walked 1/10 of the DISTANCE.
The way you state it, she rode the bus 9/10 of the DISTANCE which would mean that she walked 1/10 of the distance. If she walked 1/10 of the time and covered 1/10 of the distance while doing so, she must have walked as fast as the bus, which is unlikely.
They probably want you to say she walked 0.7 km and rode the bus 6.3 km.
Felicia traveled 7 kilometers to school 1/10 of that time she walked and 9/10 of the distance she rode a bus.
A. How far did Felicia walk?
B. How fare did she ride?
