“Narrative of The Life of Frederick Douglass” that a number of the slave owners took advantage of their owned female slaves creating unwanted offspring called mulatto. These children were abused because the slave owners hated and despised them for even existing. They would sell the children, one of the main reasons of this was if they kept the kids it would remind them of their moral failures and they would be a burden to the slave owners and when the slave owners have white kids they would batter and beat the their half brothers as or the half sons of the slave owners. Many of the dehumanizing acts that the enslavers commit by some sort of mentally and obviously morally wrong biblical jurisdiction they use trying to make clearly inhumane and morally corrupt reasoning correct damages their thinking process while also making them lose the humanity they once had. Representation of this was said during chapter one slave owner anthony was hardened by the torture of slaves and eventually enjoyed abusing them losing himself in this dark perpetual cycle and the speed in which the minds of slave owners degrades is only amplified with each whip, lash, and slash leaving a wound in the mind of the enslaver and in the back of the enslaved
