You might want to talk a bit about solubility in general, that most salts (not all) are more soluble in hot water than in cold water, that size of the particles and stirring affects the speed with which dissolution takes place, something about which salts are more soluble and dissolve faster than others, etc. Work in there somewhere, too, the points listed under background.
