Document C Andrew Jackson’s Message to Congress, Dec 7, 1829
The condition and destiny of the Indian tribes within the limits of some of our states have become objects of much interest and importance. By persuasion and force they have been made to retire from river to river and from mountain to mountain, until some of the tribes have become extinct and others have left but remnants. Surrounded by the whites with their arts of civilization, which, by destroying resources of the savages, doom him to weakness and decay, the fate of the Mohegan is fast overcoming the Choctaw, Cherokee, and Creek. Humanity and national honor demand that every effort be made to avert so great a calamity.

Jackson is calling for the hopeful removal of the Indians from the established states, and declaring that neither the states nor the government is legally able to do anything to help the indians. So Jackson's idea to prevent the calamity, is for the indians to leave Alabama, Mississippi, and georgia.
very anti-federalist, and very political. If you read only the presented snippet, one might say social, however, the entire speech is political..telling congress that the President will veto any legislation creating indian nations in established states, that the best solution is for the indians to move west.
is this part of your history class, to learn history, or
is this part of a reading comprehension exercise, using only the words you posted to read? If so, disregard my answer.
The reason I ask, is that the snippets you are posting have very little to do with the actual historical meaning of the snippet..in fact, they are ridiculous if it is mean to portray the true meaning of the speaker, and what they actually said.
