Differentiate this.

x^2 - sqrt(3)xy + 2y^2 = 5

Can someone show me?

1 answer

use implicit differentiation.
2x -√3xdy/dx - √3y + 4ydy/dx = 0
dy/dx(4y - √3x) = √3y - 2x
dy/dx = (√3y - 2x)/(4y - √3x)
