difference between 2hcl and hcl

Please note in chemistry you can't get lazy and not type caps. hcl means nothing. For example, CO means carbon monoxide, Co means cobalt, co means nothing. If you intended to write HCl, the difference is HCl means 1 mol HCl and 2HCl means two mols HCl.
