Technically, #1 is not a run-on because all the clauses are joined by some kind of conjunction. However, it's WAY too long and needs to be divided into at least two sentences.
#2 is correct, even though it reads terribly!! It would be better with "The" at the beginning of the sentence and "a" in front of "regular."
Determine if the following sentences are run-ons, fragments, or correct as is.
1. It is great news that the new laptop arrived yesterday after I had waited one week and I made several calls to check on it in shipping billing and invoicing.

2. Heart revealed regular rate and rhythm.
