Determine if the following physical equations are homogeneous

a) P=FV
c)F= mV^2
----
r

b) F=mV^2 (divided by r(radius)

I assume you mean dimensionally homogenous.

a) Power is work/time or force*distance/time. On the right side, force is velocity is distance/time, so force*distance/time checks.

c)
mass*length/time*length/time / length
mass*length/time^2
but force is mass*acceleration, or mass*length/time^2

O thnx...i actually had a test on it..do you know any good website that explains this?
