I am a 6th grader that recently took a math test. I got a question wrong, and I think it was because I don't know the definition to the question. Can you please tell me what an interval in mathematical terms is. Please give me something a 6th grader can understand. Thanks.

An Interval related to math is a set containing all points or all real numbers between two given endpoints. I hope that actually helps you out some.
