I have no way to judge the accuracy of his estimate, since I have no idea of how much bread he eats. And what about his family?
Use this to figure it out, it applies to that question:

Daniel is trying to work out how much bread he eats in a month. He knows that he eats 4 slices of bread every weekday (Monday through Friday) and 2 slices of bread every day of the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). There are 20 slices of bread in each loaf of Daniel's bread.
So : ) Add up his weekly amount of bread : )
Does it seem reasonable for what he has planned to take on vacation?
I added it to 24, but I don't know what to do after that....
