I didn't find any significant information online. But I can tell you my experience as a teacher in a rural Michigan school system.
1980 -- All teachers had access to slide projectors, vcrs, movie projectors, and overhead projectors.
-- A few Commodore 64 computers were installed in the library for a little programming instruction.
1990 -- More sophisticated computers were installed in the school buildings. Many classrooms had one computer -- mostly used for educational games.
In computer labs classes of students learned word processing and other elementary computing skills
1995 -- When I retired this year, I knew that much more use of computers would be made in classrooms.
2000 -- Most schools taught internet use as early as 6th grade. Keyboard skills were also taught.
2005 -- Some schools start supplying students with individual computers. Many computers within a classroom are linked.
Perhaps other teachers will add to my brief summary from their own experiences.
Currently, U.S. schools use technology significantly more than they did in the past. Research the use of technology in schools from 1980 until present day. Fill in the timeline below with events to depict the changes in school technology since 1980.
Can you help me find soem info for this plz.... thanks

In the last few years, many schools have teachers post grades in a computer database that is also available on the school website for parents and students.
