For Volume:
1/3^3=1/3*1/3*1/3=1/27
For number of small cubes needed:
5/3*1*7/3=35/9
35/9 / 1/27
35/9*27=945/9=105
FINAL ANSWERS (Just so you don't get confused :D)
1. Number of small cubes needed=105
2. Volume of one small cube= 1/27
1/3^3=1/3*1/3*1/3=1/27
For number of small cubes needed:
5/3*1*7/3=35/9
35/9 / 1/27
35/9*27=945/9=105
