crain carries concrete = 610kg
distance carried vertically = 91m
time carried = 90 seconds
What is the kilo watt?
I'm not sure which formulas to use... anyone know the answers?
Power = (Work done)/(time required)
The work done is M g H = 610x9.8x91 = 544,000 J. (H is the change in height and gt is the acceleration of gravity). You should be familiar with that potential energy formula.
Divide that by 90 seconds for the power in Watts. Then convert to kilowatts.
