Intimation means a "suggestion", usually done quietly. I don't believe I have ever heard an imtimation over a loudspeaker.
Then it is not used correctly.

It means to make clear without being direct.

what if i said:

The intimation from Billy's mood made Susy think he was mad at her.

I would say Billy's actions instead of mood... it would make the meaning clearer.
ok...what about this:

My mother gave me the intimation that I would be able drive to school if the weather was good; though, she didn't tell that to me directly, it was hidden under her words.
You should use GuruBlue's suggestion and write this:

"The intimation from Billy's actions made Susy think he was mad at her."

It's better than your last sentence, which is really a couple of run-ons!
