Concentrated hydrochloric acid is a 38% solution of hcl in water and has a density of 1.18g/ml. How many milliliters of concentrated hydrochloric acid are needed to prepare 500ml of a 1:200 hcl solution.
My own three calculation
1.18g/ml x 1000ml x0.38 / 36.46 = 12.3M
500ml x 1:200 = 2.5
12.3M = 2.5
x= 2.5/12.3
x= 0.203 x1000
x= 203ml
Or
500ml x 1:200 = 2.5
2.5 x 36.46/0.38/1.18= 203ml
or
38g/36.46g/ml = 1.0412
100g/1.18g/ml = 84.745 changes 0.0847L
x= 1.0412/0.0847
x= 12.3m
500ml x 1:200 = 2.5
12.3m=2.5
x= 2.5/12.3
x=0.203 x 1000
x= 203ml
Who helps me to solve it for me. This problem is still not solved.
