Cesar's sixth- grade class sorted books in the library. The class sorted 45 books in 90 minutes. Write an equivalent ratio to find how long it would take to sort 120 books.

10 answers

45/ 90 = 120/x

1/2 = 120/x

x = 240
240
90 divided by 45 = 2
The class sorts 2 books per minute.
120 books
120 x 2 is 240
I don't understand can someone explain is the answer 240 or 2??
Can someone explain
Can someone please explain how to get the answer
I got 240 is that right
4 hours cause it cant be 240 hours
Of you divide 45 and 90 u will get 2 so it tales 2 minutes per book soo 120 x 2=240
240=4 hours
well it took him 45:90 (45 books 90 mins)

so all you have to is find out how many books per minute

90/45=2

so books per minute

now do 120 x 2= 240

ratio is now 240:120

CHECK!

divide 240 by 120 and you get 2
