can you think of other ways Christians are alike or different in their beliefs or practices?

If you tell what ways you've already stated, we'll be glad to help you find "other ways."
Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah. that is the only 1 right now
I think all Christians believe that the teachings of Jesus should form the basis of their lives. Some of these basic tenets are:
love one another
do unto others as you would have them do unto you
and the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:3-12).

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall possess the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

They also believe that the New Testament of the Bible is a holy book and should be revered.

But Christian denominations vary widely in their beliefs about:
abortion
clergy
female clergy
baptism
forgiveness of sins
nature of Jesus
nature of God
Heaven
Hell
faith vs. works
day of worship
celebration of holy days (holidays)
missionary work
consumption of alcohol and caffeine
celibacy of the clergy
predestination
