Can you tell me if it is correct to divide the two sentences this way?
We really liked those places. Unfortunately, we didn't have any guide with us even if our brochure clearly said that an experienced guide would have accompanied us throughout our tour.
What did the trvek agency offer us as a compensation (for all the inconvenience they had been caused)? Shall I include the part in brackets or not?

Sentence 2 has a typo in "trvek" = traavel and grammar "they had been caused" = they had caused OR that had been caused."
