Can you please check the following sentences? I just want to make sure that the tense choice is correct.
1.Enter the airport and look at the departures board to check your flight number and the departure time of your flight.
2.Go to the check-in desk to weigh your luggage. Make sure your baggage (luggage) doesn't exceed 20 kilos. You pay for excess baggage.
3.You have your ticket checked and they give you a boarding card for the plane with your seat number on it.
4. Then you go through passport control where an official checks your passport. Any hand luggage, mobile phone, etc. is put on a counter (conveyor belt) before you walk through the gate that checks for metal, etc.
5.Then you go into the departure lounge. Here you can also buy things in the duty-free, e.g. perfume, alcohol or souvenirs.
6.About half an hour before take-off you go to your gate number, where you wait before you get on the plane.
7.Finally, you board the plane and find your seat.
