Fein is mispelled in (3), and "throught" in the same paragraph probably should be "throughout."
In (4), you probably want the word "previously" before "had done". The word "instead" would improve the sentence before or after "met". That is just a matter of style.
(1) would look and read better if you started a new sentence with "Fourteen".
Other that that, I see no grammatical problems.

3) One of the Irish armed groups was the Irish nationalist party Sinn Feein, which in Gaelic means "ourselves alone". In the 1918 election Sinn Fein won throught Ireland, except in the predominantly Protestant Ulster.
4) With this overwhelming majority, the newly elected Irish MPs did not join the British Parliament, as they had done, but met in the Dial in Dublin, announcing that Ireland was now a republic.
5) The War of Independence began in 1919, led by the IRA and Sinn Fein; it ended in 1921 with the establishment of the Irish Free State, an independent Ireland within the British Commonwealth. Only Ulster remained united with Britain.

The only other thing I'd add is that there needs to be a comma after "British army" in #1. That's a compound sentence, and this is one of the PRIMARY comma uses in English.
