Can you check these sentences about summer holidays? Thank you.
1) When I was at the seaside, I usually bathed twice in the mornings. (went for swims).
2) I pushed my child on a swing and I watch him going on a slide.
When I was at the swimming pool, I watched my child diving into the water from the water chute (a slide in the water?) or the springboard.
3) Is there a verb for "opening the beach umbrella"?
I liked snoozing (having a nap) on the deck chair.
4) I rented a beach umbrella and a deck chair.

So far, the only mistake I see is the second sentences. The sentence itself doesn't sound right, so i would change it to "I pushed my child on a swing and then watched him go down a slide." and then, "When I was at the swimming pool, I watched my child diving into the water from the water chute." I don't see springboard necessary, and if it is it would replace water chute. Em not exactly sure what you mean by "Is there a verb for opening the beach umbrella?"

*** It would be springboard, not water chute. So it would be "When I was at the swimming pool, I watched my child diving into the water from the springboard." Sorry about that.
